General Questions
What is Game A Day?
Game A Day is a website which offers a single product or service for a 24 hour period. A new offer starts every day at 10:00 am (NZT).
Is it free to join?
Absolutely. You can set up a free account with us now. Simply click on "Join us" and enter your details. You will need a valid email address and nominate a username and password.
When I am buying a product where am I buying from?
You are buying products from gameaday.co.nz. In the case of services on offer you are buying services directly from the company offering those services.
Are all products on offer new?
Yes, all products on offer are new, and come in manufacturer’s packing.
Will you offer the same product or service in future?
Yes, if inventory allows. If the product or service becomes available again we may be able to offer it at a similar or better price.
What time do I get to see the game of the day?
We offer the Game of the Day at 10:00am everyday and it will remain valid until 10:00 am the next day, when another game will be offered.
Buying
I can see only one item, do you offer more than one item?
We offer you one game or gaming accessory at a special discount, for one day only. From time to time we will be offering side deals, so keep an eye out for side deals.
I forgot to buy the game or gaming accessory yesterday, can I still buy it?
No, once the deal has expired, you cannot buy the game or gaming accessory at the deal price, although the del may come up again at some point.
I missed on the free game you offer from time to time, can I get one please?
All products offered free are in limited quantity and once we are sold out we are not able to allocate further units, you have to be quick to grab free games.
Can I buy in Bulk from your site?
No you cannot buy in bulk. We aim to provide an equal opportunity for all users to take advantage of these great deals.
My Account
How do I create a Game A Day account?
You will find a "Join us" link on our header on almost every page; simply click and you are ready to become our member. You will need a valid email address, username and password of your choice to get you started. Click here to join us now.
I created an account but did not get a confirmation email to activate my account?
Normally confirmation emails are sent instantly, however please check your junk folder. If you are having trouble and or cannot find it, please send us an email on support@gameaday.co.nz
How do I edit my details?
When you click on "My Account" you will be able to view and edit your account. However, you cannot edit certain fields (such as your username) due to security reasons.
Customer Support
Can I have your 0800 number please?
We do not offer phone support at this point of time. However you can send us an email on support@gameaday.co.nz and we will endeavor to reply within 24 hours. We recommend you read theses FAQ’s before sending us an email, most of your questions will be answered here.
I have a complaint to make, how do I do that?
Feel free to send us a mail on support@gameaday.co.nz stating the nature of your complaint and we will call you back to resolve the problem.
Shipping & Returns
When do you ship my goods?
We try and consolidate and process all orders once the deal has expired, however there are times where games may take 2 or 3 day to process due to supplier volumes. We ship goods as soon as we can however it may take upto 5 working days at the most to receive your games. We are trying to workon solutions so we can dispatch these games to you as soon as we can. You could expect slight delays if you buy a product on a weekend or public holiday. Please note that rural deliveries may take a day or 2 extra.
Can I trace my order?
Yes. The tracking code can be viewed by going into My Account section of the website and clicking on History tab. We also send you track and trace numbers via email once the order has been processed.
I have a PO Box address; will you ship me goods?
Yes we can send you games to your PO Box addresses. We will not deliver to hotel or motel addresses.
I have purchased 3 units of a product; will you deliver at three different addresses?
Yes, once your payment is confirmed you will be directed to the delivery confirmation page. If you have purchased only one unit by default it will confirm delivery to your registered address. You can chose to change the delivery address at this point. If you buy three units of a product, you have the option of delivery to one single address or three different addresses. Please note that if you buy more than three units, the delivery will be done at the maximum to three addresses
What is your returns and refund policy?
If the product is damaged in transit please send us an email immediately and we will send you details on how to get a replacement. You can return a product at anytime if it is defective and is covered under warranty, most of our products carry a warranty. We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.In first instance send us an email on support@gameaday.co.nz and let us know.
Due to copyright issues we may refuse exchange of the game or refund, our decision will be final.
Payments
What payment options do you offer?
We have flexible options when it comes to making payments. You can either pay by Credit Card or Pago.
What is Pago?
Pago is an alternative mode of payment on gameaday.co.nz. Pago is a virtual "wallet" that you can transfer money to from any NZ bank account using Internet Banking. Once you top up your wallet, you can use it to buy products on gameaday.co.nz. To use Pago all you need is a mobile phone or email address and a New Zealand bank account.
